A group of young people explores life: love, morals, ambition, sex … and go into their games. How to be an adult in a society full of interests? Although “La Malaltia de la Joventut” is located in Vienna a few years after the First World War, the idea of a lost generation is close.

Written with precision, the work reflects in the microcosm of a house of medical students the spirit of that time: on the outside, a hedonistic tendency, on the inside, putrefaction. The author is one of the most representative of his time, with a marked influence of Freud, Nietsche and expressionism.
