RecReations Project. “La resistència al CANVI” 2019

Live show that combines the digital artistic disciplines (audiovisual in projection and digital music) and performing arts (dance and theatre).

“The only constant in life is change”, said the philosopher Heráclito, and yet keep fighting to resist the change as much as we can. We know, but going through a cycle with different stages is unavoidable until we accept a change in our life. A physical change, psychical… we are not used to it because we can’t, or we don’t want to do it?

RecReations Project wants to explore a way to transmit through an artistic method. This basis is in the performance of a stage play where the projected video is interrelated with the performing arts such as dance and music.

From the union between digital technologies and digital arts, we want to transmit a message that generates a deepening about a social issue. The theoric content tries to generate a ponderation about the difficulty of the acceptation process that the individual experiments when the change in his environment is produced. All of this taking into account that the individual is located in a contemporary context.
