Stage Creative Project II – “Les Cegues” 2019

A group of blind women is lost in the middle of the forest. Winter is coming. The rumor of the sea explodes, there from the trees. We don’t know anything about these characters. We ignore what they’re doing here. The man who led them is dead, and they expect to come back while they contemplate their misfortune. Maurice Maeterlinck, a symbolist author, doesn’t want to explain what they are doing or where these blinds come from. The text is a compendium of fears and hopes, of women who love and yearn, who desire and are afraid. So far away from us and at the same time, so close.
