The record design of the 70’s 2021
This work, carried out by students in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, focuses on studying the style that emerges from the graphic design of albums from the late sixties to the early eighties.
With this, the aim is to highlight and extract a series of characteristic elements from it that, due to their widespread use in this format, allow us to identify and apply them in new practical cases.
This is intended to be achieved through an analysis of the context and influences with which the discipline of album design is born and develops, along with a review of a series of references (selected for their use of certain aspects of interest). These will allow us to understand and visualize, in a clearer way, the essence – both visually and conceptually – of the discipline at the time focused on in the research, later to be used in the creation of designs in the field of the music industry.
