Un món meravellós i absurd 2020

Un món meravellós i absurd is a project carried by students of the Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia.

It is a photobook that deals with current issues influenced by Baroque art.

This project has as its starting point the intertextual revisitation of the Baroque in contemporary photography. Based on the influence of many current artists, who have seen in some of the stylistic and thematic features of the Baroque, a parallel for the reflection of our time. “UN MÓN MERAVELLÓS I ABSURD” is a photobook divided into different sections, where each one tries to reflect on current issues that resonate with previous ones, such as the passage of time, the transience of individual and natural beauty or the obsolescence of new technologies.
