URBEX 2020
Urbex is a project carried out by studens of the Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia degree.
Humanity has always been curious, all the mysteries that they have founded, they wanted to solve it or find out. We can say that in our way of being, there is always an inherent concern about what we do not know. This also happens many times, when we see abandoned places such as: houses, gas stations, factories … It is inevitable to think what it could be inside, and we have the desire to enter.
Curiosity, then, has created a movement within photography, called urbex. This is based on entering abandoned sites and taking pictures. Artists capture images of devastated places to bring them back to the memory.
This work, stems from the desire to create a photography book where urbex is experienced, or also said, urban exploration. In order to teach the world, those forgotten and abandoned places that have another kind of beauty. The intention will be to bring back the memory of the buildings that one day had been full of life.
