While studying for her Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication at ERAM, she had the opportunity to do an internship at Plataforma Editorial, where she designed and adapted book covers and promotional materials as well as produced and edited institutional videos and promotional book trailers. After graduating, she continued working there for nearly four years. During this time, she also took on additional tasks such as visual identity design, managing and maintaining the social media accounts of Plataforma Editorial and Plataforma Neo, website management, and art direction. Additionally, between 2018 and 2019, she completed a course in graphic design and layout at Seeway – Higher School of Design, Animation, Digital Communication, and Photography.
While still working for the company, in 2019, she also started working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She specialized in designing and laying out Young Adult book covers, illustrating Middle Grade books, and creating tour merchandise illustrations for artists, with clients such as Universal Music Group / Bravado, Penguin Random House, La Galera Editorial, and Planeta Editorial.
When she worked as a freelance for Universal Music Group / Bravado, she illustrated the merchandise for Khalid’s “Free Spirit” tour, as well as promotional merchandise for other artists like Billie Eilish, and concept arts for Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, among others.
Some of the books she has illustrated include: the Aqua Marina saga (La Galera), some books from La diversión de Martina, Alexia Superfutbolista (with Penguin), and the new series “Au royaume des créatures magiques” (Hachette). In total, she has illustrated about fifteen books.
Three years later, in 2022, she joined the team at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, where she currently works as an art director and graphic designer in the children’s and young adult literature department.
