Guillem began his studies in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication in 2010 at the Escola Universitària de les Arts ERAM, where he developed his passion for cinema by participating in various film shoots. During his fourth year, he took part in an ERASMUS exchange program at Staffordshire University, an experience that allowed him to engage in numerous productions and deepen his knowledge of the film and television industry.
His professional career began with an internship on the popular HBO series Game of Thrones (HBO) during its filming in Girona. Shortly after, he moved to London, where he worked in the Art Direction department of several renowned series, including Howards End (BBC), Fortitude (Amazon), and Marcella (Netflix). From 2020 onwards, he contributed to other major productions such as The Spanish Princess (2019-2020) and House of the Dragon (HBO) (2022).
In addition to his work as an art director, Guillem has directed two short films, Hoste (2021) and Las flores crecen en la sombra, the latter presented as his final thesis project at ERAM and awarded at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival. He has also written the script for the short film Luca (2020) and collaborated on the feature film L’Artèria invisible and the short film Cuatro Meses.
