Jana Pujol began her studies at the Escola Universitària de les Arts ERAM in 2015, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication. Although she initially focused on the audiovisual field, she soon discovered the world of 3D, a discipline that had always intrigued her. As she delved deeper into this field, she realized that she particularly enjoyed the technical aspects of modeling. After completing her degree, she decided to further specialize by enrolling in a 3D Master’s program at Lightbox Academy in Madrid.
During her studies, Jana participated in several projects, most notably a short film that opened the doors to the professional industry. Her first experience in the field was in the video game industry, working at Game Group, a company based in Barcelona. Later, she had the opportunity to join Lightbox Animation Studios, the production company affiliated with the academy where she completed her master’s. She started as a Junior 3D Modeler, and thanks to her dedication and growth, she now holds the position of Mid 3D Modeler, specializing in the creation of sets and props for animations.
Beyond her experience at Lightbox, Jana worked at Gameloft as a 3D Vehicle Artist, developing a detailed and well-crafted vehicle model. She has also collaborated with other companies as a graphic designer, broadening her range of skills in the digital art sector.
Her talent and dedication have earned her notable recognition in the industry. She was nominated for Best Modeling Project at the Tadeo Awards, thanks to her Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat model. Additionally, in 2021, she secured 2nd place in the Speed Modeling competition organized by Lightbox Academy. In this competition, she showcased her technical skills and creativity by modeling, texturing, and lighting a prop in just three and a half hours.
