Graduated in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication from the ERAM – UdG School of Arts, Quim Güell has built an extensive career in the film industry, specializing in cinematography and as camera operator. With complementary training in Cinematography at ESCAC and international experience at the University of Northampton, he excels in both visual storytelling and cinematographic technique.
He has worked on a wide range of productions, from feature films and series for platforms like Netflix, HBO, Movistar+, and Amazon Prime Video, to advertising for renowned brands such as Toyota, Hermès, Puig, Decathlon, and Heinz. As a second assistant camera, he has been part of prestigious teams in projects directed by professionals like Isabel Coixet, Cesc Gay, Daniel Monzón, and David Pastor.
Some of the standout projects he has worked on include the short film El Viajero, by Miquel Casals, as Director of Photography; Fujifilm Case Study, also as DoP; documentaries like A la caza, by Pere Solés and David Gimbernat; music videos like Rápido, by Víctor Arbelo; and as DoP on the short film Vorsek.
In addition to his work in fiction and advertising, Quim holds certifications as an A1-A2-A3 drone pilot and has specialized training in color grading, further expanding his expertise in the audiovisual field.
