One of the values of the ERAM-UdG University School of Arts is that of equality and the fight against all forms of discrimination based on gender, sex, or religious, cultural, or social background.
At ERAM, we understand coexistence not as a mere existence, but as the necessary relationship between individuals based on empathy, respect, and esteem. This commitment should be directed towards the establishment of measures for information, prevention, and action that allow us to progress towards the eradication of these phenomena, reporting when they occur, and supporting and protecting the victims.
In the context of a technologically complex society, culturally diverse and marked by significant social disparities, we are confronted with various forms of exclusion, violence, and harassment based on gender, gender, sexuality, or religious, cultural, or social background, practices that undermine the dignity and integrity of individuals. Faced with these phenomena, the active commitment of all individuals and institutions is necessary for an egalitarian and emancipatory social project.
To make it affective, we work to promote and consolidate these values among our students, faculty, and staff.
As an affiliated institution of the UdG, our students are part of the Universitat de Girona community and therefore fall under its umbrella. Nevertheless, at the ERAM University School of Arts, we have developed our own equality plan, which we provide below.
