The documentary ‘Pertinença’awarded at the Figueira da Foz Film Festival.
The International Film Festival of Figueira da Foz was, for three decades, the most important film festival in Portugal. Between 1972 and 2002, the event attracted film enthusiasts from across the country and abroad during the ten days of September. As a general rule, the festival jury favored films from a wide variety of cinematographies, especially those with little publicity in the Portuguese commercial circuit.
The essay documentary ‘Pertinença’ has been awarded with two prizes at the international festival ‘FIGUEIRA FILM ART 2018’:

Synopsis of ‘Pertinença’: Chronicle of an aesthetic experience. ‘Pertinença’ aims to explore what it means to live an ‘aesthetic experience,’ as this, when it occurs, expands the horizon far beyond personal experience. ‘Pertinença’ is the desire for recognition of what we belong to. An interrogation about the meaning of the ‘own’ and ‘foreign’ in a globalized world. A questioning of human beings about the dispossession of nature.
