We start the course with four official university artistic degrees at ERAM

We start this 2024-2025 course and once again see how the corridors of the ERAM-UdG University Center of Arts are filled with the chatter and laughter of the students.

This marks the second year of the new University Fashion Degree, consolidating itself as the only official fashion degree in Catalonia. This morning, 1st and 2nd-year students were able to inaugurate the new facilities where the practical part of the degree will be held, in the old Gassol textile factory, currently under renovation. The new facility is designed to accommodate all the degree students as it grows, in a spacious area with natural light. It’s a comfortable place to work on class projects as well as personal projects students might develop.

At ERAM, we are also celebrating an anniversary! 10 years ago, we saw the first generation of students from the Performing Arts and Acting Degree walk through this very door. Among that group of enthusiastic young people was Laura Pujol, who is now the Degree Coordinator, alongside Sílvia Escuder.

Whether today was your first day and you met your classmates and the university, or if you already know every corner of ERAM and have reunited with your friends, we hope you had a great start to the school year! May this year be full of learning, new challenges, and experiences. It’s time to discover yourself!

Welcome day for the new school year

We tricked you a little… Today was the first day of class, but the first-year students are already two days ahead of the rest. To break the ice, we summoned them on Thursday, September 12, at the Girona Espai Jove Station. They enjoyed icebreaker activities facilitated by the Espai Jove team, getting to know each other while exploring Girona.

We had the pleasure, together with all the degree coordinators, to witness the entire new ERAM generation start their university journey!
