XYZ Transmedia Exhibition by ERAM ’24
Transmedia arrives at the Modern, Audiovisual and Digital Center of Girona with the XYZ ’24 Exhibition by the students of the University School of Arts, ERAM – UdG.
From January 25 to 27, the XYZ Transmedia exhibition, created by the University School of Arts (ERAM-UdG), will take place at El Modern, Audiovisual and Digital Center of Girona.
The XYZ exhibition reflects and presents the transmedia concept through seven audiovisual projects with installations that take over the rooms of the new Audiovisual and Digital Center of Girona, El Modern. The projects have been carried out by the final-year students of the official degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication offered by the University School of Arts, ERAM – UdG.
The transmedia concept is a type of narrative in which the story is communicated through various means and communication platforms with the aim of engaging a portion of the audience in an interactive and active role. For the creation of these seven proposals, students have been working for the past five months.
The projects are as follows:
Apunto: A specialized audiovisual production company in 3D projects and special effects where everyday things are approached from a different perspective.
Forastera: Born from a death and an excuse to reconnect with a friendship that has been silent for a long time.
Kekorte: Deals with the creation and promotion of a social app to encourage unique and fun connectivity among groups of friends.
L’Anòmala: A gastronomic experience that is an interactive and immersive installation occurring during the meal, challenging diners to question their table habits and customs.
Moviments: Anna lives in a distorted reality due to her own perception. Her coexistence with her partner blurs with the first symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Anna searches for herself constantly until the window of her dining room allows her to find herself.
Termini: A drama that delves into the life of a young writer with new and growing literary success. The story begins with a televised interview with the writer, revealing his eccentric perspective on creativity, focused on obsession.
Tiònia: Extracted from a personal experience and transformed with the conviction to maintain the excitement of the children of Catalonia, Tiònia is born—a project in the format of an animated children’s series featuring the tradition of the Tió de Nadal (Christmas log).
