
XYZ Transmedia Exhibition by ERAM ’25
Transmedia arrives at El Modern, the Audiovisual and Digital Center of Girona, with the XYZ ’25 Exhibition, presented by the students of the School of Arts, ERAM – UdG, on February 13th.
La exposición reflexiona sobre el concepto transmedia a través de ocho proyectos audiovisuales, con instalaciones que ocuparán las salas de El Modern, Centro Audiovisual y Digital. Los trabajos han sido realizados por los estudiantes de último curso del Grado oficial en Comunicación Audiovisual y Multimedia que ofrece la Escuela Universitaria de las Artes, ERAM – UdG.
The exhibition reflects on the concept of transmedia through eight audiovisual projects, with installations that will occupy the halls of El Modern, Audiovisual and Digital Center. The works have been created by the final-year students of the official degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication offered by the School of Arts, ERAM – UdG.
Here are the projects on display:
VIZCO Our final group project involves the creation and comprehensive development of an artistic character, specifically a composer or DJ. This project covers all aspects required to build their musical and artistic career, from their visual and sonic identity to their presence on digital platforms and live events. The main goal is to create a completely fictional but believable artist with a strong identity capable of standing out both digitally and physically. We aim to design a brand strategy that includes music, image, promotion, and follower interaction to create an artist who connects with the audience and has a significant presence in the contemporary music world.
A Mitja Veu In a quiet, everyday environment, a mother and granddaughter care for a grandmother isolated in her own world to avoid confronting the toll of time and illness. “A Mitja Veu” explores the challenges of daily caregiving and the emotional tension between three generations of women, highlighting frustration, helplessness, and efforts to communicate with the grandmother. Through small actions, an intimate story unfolds about emotional distance and the need for communication and connection.
El canto de las olas “El canto de las olas” immerses us in a shadowy world where our deepest fears reside. In this threshold between life and death, a guide accompanies souls on their final journey. Now, a young man must face his destiny, burdened with his own shadows, as he embarks on his final transition.
Rabbit “What if loneliness isn’t so bad after all? When you’re alone, no one can hurt you… or can they? “Rabbit” is a suspenseful short film that uncovers the secrets many families prefer to hide.”
El Encargo A solitary carpenter follows a meticulous work ritual while struggling with his inner conflicts, which unfold as he progresses in the construction of a mysterious object.
.krítik “.krítik” is a space for reflection on society’s acceleration, presented as a clinic that uses irony to prompt the viewer to rethink perspectives and raise new questions.
Ritus Of Pass “Ritus Of Pass” is an audiovisual project in a 3D animation format. It includes three stories that explore transformative moments in the lives of their protagonists. On this occasion, Silenci, the first story, will be presented with a pitch bible, a teaser trailer, and an artbook.
Blu. “Blu.” explores various aspects of creating a cultural event focused on local emerging artists, with a key differentiating element that offers a live performance to showcase their audiovisual and artistic projects.
