Melissa Caminha is participating in the “11th European Feminist Research Conference (EFRC) – social change,” as part of the Pleasurescapes research project.
Her presentation is titled “The queer pleasurescapes of Barcelona at the turn of the 20th century: Remembering performances of transgression at the popular culture of the Paral·lel Avenue and the Fifth District.” This presentation took place during Session 2. It was “Feminist and LGBTQIA+ struggles: Legacies and strategies, memories and visions,” in June 2022 at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan, Italy.
