The Oaxaca FilmFest is an eight-day international film festival held every fall in the colonial Mexican city of Oaxaca since 2010. The festival comprises various categories and provides significant space in its selection for emerging directors and writers.
Synopsis
A young woman reads a book lying on her bed. In that very moment, she is invaded by the urge to explore. The girl will question what she truly desires to discover and feel freedom. With an intimate and melancholic atmosphere, she will confront meaningful moments, trapped in her monotony, that will ultimately enable her to choose and shape her life.
The director of the short film, Daniel Álvarez, will travel to Mexico, where he will give a presentation discussing the project, its feasibility, creation, etc.
