Victor García, ERAM student, wins the prestigious Laus Young Talent Award 2024 with the “Divino” project
The Young Talent Laus awards are a category within the Premis Laus, organized by the Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers (ADG-FAD) in Spain. Directed at students and recent graduates, these awards seek to discover and celebrate emerging talents in graphic design and visual communication.
Divino is a project by Victor García, which arose during the 22-23 academic year in the elective course of Art Direction within the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia taught by Professor Jordi Caralt.
The course proposed the creation of a project with a free theme, aiming for students to explore various techniques of representing ideas, such as moodboards, sketches, and prototypes, among others. The objective was to develop tools that would allow them to effectively communicate their ideas to others. For this project, it was not necessary to elaborate on any particular piece, leaving the decision to carry it out in the hands of the student.
Divino has been conceived following a logic of comprehensive sustainability. Therefore, the use of materials in its packaging that are completely recyclable, made from recycling, or have minimal environmental impact has been prioritized. From the manufacture of the bottle, made with recycled borosilicate, to the production of the label, every detail has been carefully considered.
