“Aprendices visuales” Awarded at the Student Online Project Awards.
The European Youth Award (EYA) is a pan-European competition aimed at motivating youth, entrepreneurs, and startups to develop digital projects with a social impact. These projects should aim to contribute to the achievement of goals set by the Council of Europe and the Europe 2020 Strategy. It is an enriching experience for students, as they engage with eight universities across Europe. In addition they participate in a leading festival in Europe for young innovators.
One of the awards is the “International Student Online Project,” where groups from different universities create a poster and provide guidance to each of the winning teams. The winning project was “Aprendices visuales” (http://www.aprendicesvisuales.org/), and the winning team, which precisely advised this project, consists of Alexandra Muresan, Rowan Barnes, Salvador Maynou (ERAM), Boglárka Kőrösi, and Sara Maleš, with Professor Arnau Gifreu serving as coordinator and tutor, also from ERAM.
Next year, we’re doing it again—anyone interested? More information about EYA.
