Dieter Auner

Before starting to write, produce, and direct my documentary films, I was involved in the Irish Film and Television Industry for over a decade in various roles and contexts.

To broaden my knowledge and capacity to coordinate and execute film projects from inception to completion, I included academic film studies and practical training in my curricula. A master's degree in screenwriting from the Huston Film School, NUI Galway, paved the way for many exciting years as a lecturer in film, both in Ireland and Catalunya, Spain.

Moreover, my three feature documentary films have scooped some international awards and screened worldwide at film festivals. ‘Off the Beaten Track’ and ‘Dreams Of A Clown’ are currently available to stream on NETFLIX EUROPE.
