Clown, art educator and researcher in Performing Arts, Performance, Arts and Education, Gender, Cultural Rights and Policies, Arts Based Research. Degree in Law from the University of Fortaleza, Brazil (2001). Degree in Performing Arts from the Federal Center for Technological Education of Ceará, Brazil (2006). Master in Visual Arts and Education from the University of Barcelona (2011).
Doctorate in Arts and Education from the University of Barcelona (2016). In 2006 he received an award and honor of merit for the research "El Riure del Pallaso: Sentit Polític en la Poètica de Bertolt Brecht". In 2011 he won the Carequinha FUNARTE / Petrobras Award for Circus Support in Brazil, to carry out the field work of the doctoral research "Pallasses: Històries, Cossos i Formes de Representar la Comicitat des d'una Perspectiva de Gènere", which proposes plural genealogies of clowns, from a feminist-queer-crip intersectional approach. In 2014 he received again the Carequinha FUNARTE / Petrobras Support Award to Brazil, this time to renew the Xereca sketch.
In 2019, she was a visiting researcher at the School of Sociology and Social Policy, University of Leeds, continuing her research on clowns, to research centers on gender, race and disability (CIGS, CERS and CDS). She is a professor in the Performing Arts Degree at the ERAM University (Center attached to the University of Girona), where she also participates in the ERAMSCI research group.
