He teaches the subject of Dramatic theories I jointly with Carlota Subirós.
In his works you can differentiate two main lines: On the one hand, his dedication to contemporary dramaturgy (he has premiered texts by Lluïsa Cunillé, Josep Maria Benet, Narcís Comadira, José Sanchis Sinisterrra or Paco Zarzoso, Thomas Bernhard, Pier Paolo Pasolini or Harold Pinter) and, on the other, the vindication of a musical theatre with its own roots (Sentimental chronicle of Spain, From Manolo to Escobar, The duo of the african, the Court of Pharaoh, Finches and Goldfinches, Private Life...).
He has directed the Summer Festival of Barcelona (Greek) between the years 1995 and 1999. He has also been director of the cultural area of the Ramon Llull Institute, for the external projection of the Catalan culture. He has been director of the National Theatre of Catalonia since July 2013.
